Pilobolus Dance Live at CU Cultural Arts Center | Silver Spring – April 18th, 2027

The CU Cultural Arts Center's mainstage at Silver Spring is a space that’s seen a lot over the years, but it still manages to surprise. Back in 2018, it hosted this incredible seminar on innovations in dance and music, bringing in international experts to share cutting-edge ideas, and you could really feel the energy in that room. Before that, in 2015, the stage was transformed into a vibrant hub for a puppet theater troupe from around the world, showcasing stunning puppet acts that blended cultural tradition with fresh, innovative twists. The stage itself hasn't changed much since it opened in 1978, still the same size, still with the same equipment, yet it somehow feels alive with stories and creativity. And honestly, it’s one of those places where you can’t help but get caught up in the magic, whether it’s a daring dance performance or a whimsical puppet show. Seeing Pilobolus Silver Spring take the stage here just makes sense, these events feel like they’re woven into the fabric of the space, making each visit a little special.
